#CLINIQUE CC Cream: A Review by Loripalooza

I was introduced to the concept of BB creams by my friend, Frugie. She is always on the up and up when it comes to makeup trends and miracle creams, so I took her advice and picked up some Garnier BB cream at a drugstore for around thirteen dollars.

I was amazed at how much better my skin looked after using it. It worked really well at minimizing the imperfections in my skin and it contained SPF-15. Another thing worth mentioning is that it's tinted, so it took the place of my old foundation completely.

I could barely contain my excitement when I heard about CC creams.

"Could it be true? Could CC cream really be as good, or better than BB cream?"

Ready to work my way through the skin care alphabet, I headed to Clinique to purchase their CC cream. It was $36 before tax, which was around three times what I was paying for the Garnier BB cream. I hoped it would pay off.

I was thrilled with the results. The Clinique CC cream provided even better coverage than the BB cream I'd been using, and gave my patchy skin tone a more smooth, cohesive look.

Here are my before and after photos.

Amazing!! The results speak for themselves.

Now, I'm going to go even further as I show you my transition from a freshly-washed face, to my face with Clinique CC cream, and NO MAKEUP.

I know what you're thinking.
"Why mess with perfection?"
Trust me, I get that all the time.

(AFTER)

Voila! Brighter under the eyes and a more even tone... which now draws attention to my droopy mouth. Ugh!

The three things to take home from this experience.
  1. Headgear is great for masking a droopy mouth.
  2. I will probably be unrecognizable by the time they come out with ZZ cream.
  3. I'm really afraid of what DD cream will be made of.

    1. Waoh! You just blew my mind with that. I fully support that and so does my bra.

  2. "Notice how the appearance of headgear diminishes after using the CC cream" LMAO. hilarious. I feel like I should post a similar disclaimer outside my bathroom when guests come over. Everyone is so use to seeing my makeup enhanced face--only few have seen me without the glitz and glam. Trust me, it ain't pretty. You, however, look just as beautiful bare faced (is that a word?)...

    1. Aren't you sweet, but you know where liars go when they die.
I posted a letter with the title "House Rules," in the guest bedroom. It involves not photographing me without makeup and fixing me sandwiches upon request.

  3. If I use AA cream, does it make hangovers go away?

    1. Were you attempting to make merlot shoot out my nose with that comment? Because you succeeded. However, to take your comment seriously I can only say, I wish...
      PS: I love you more.
